Lawmakers want the pills restricted to ‘having sexual relations with a current spouse’ to ‘protect men from themselves’

Men in Kentucky may soon only be able to use Viagra if they have permission from their wives.

They will also have to swear on the bible that the sex-aid drug will only be used for “having sexual relations with a current spouse”.

Lawmakers in the Bluegrass State want the little blue pills to be given to men only if they have twice visited the doctor – and have their wife’s written approval.

Republican senator Mary Lou Marzian, who is a nurse, said: “I want to protect these men from themselves.

“This is about family values.”

Ms Marzian admits she doesn’t believe the Bill will receive much support.
